Science has Einstein.
Heavy metal has more than just Einstein.
Heavy metal got Eddie Van Halen.

Life kinda like running TV Station. In a day, we have certain time slot when our body and mind and soul play each role in synergy.

Focus.

Korn Twisted Transistor

I've been spending my weekend listening to Twisted Transistor.
I guess it's my MOTW then.
Hey you, hey you, Devil's little sister
Listening to your Twisted Transistor
Hold it between your legs
Turn it up, turn it up
The wind is coming through
Can't get enough

A lonely life, where no one understands you
But don't give up, because the music do
Music do

First time I know KoЯn is via Headbanger, an old programme from MTV. Happened when McGyver still around at RCTI and we must have parabola disc to grab those bloody channels.

Though, I never get into KoЯn intensely. Industrial music is nearly impossible to be performed with my band at that time due lack of sound mixing equipments.
The only album I got is “Shoot the Ladder” or something. I forget the puny details.

Two days ago, Dental suggest this song and I say pretty much yeah. That’s suit me well due to my SNAFU.

I guess I go industrial with Dental.

Oh btw, we know misery loves company. The OST of NFS Underground : Static-X – The Only, is very good companion for your playlist.

Hell Yeah !

Once, Mas Tattock (of Tatto) rushed into our room, handed over a cassette and said : “You should remake your song like this, if you’re guys really wanna win tomorrow jams”.

We listened to a song with great intro of double pedal and delay-effected guitar’s strum. Mixed up with fuzzy Mxylodian tunes on B.
My first impression on Metropolis : Rush, Metallica, and Casiopea altogether.

I’m addicted to DT ever since.

I was 15.

Nowadays, it seems that all bands trapped in Kikan Coklat-like.
It’s so hard to find songs with powerful lyrics and total musical skills that sells.

(thx to Doni for info).

Hmm.. where do I begin to tell this story ?

Begini…

Waaaaaa…

Bandnya simple. Drum hanya pake satu tom-tom, satu basdrum (emang mau dobel pedal ?), piccolo snare, satu hihats, dan satu simbal.
Bass guitar juga gak aneh-aneh. Gak pake chorus atau decompresor. Murni tabung amplifier. Begitu pula gitar.

Simple, tapi asyik. Gak kayak soundrenaline yang wah ngakunya metal tapi pangsa pasar anak pacaran. Hehe.. kurang gothic yo Den

Kalo ini, simple ala band lawas seperti The Cream dengan I Shot Pak Sheriff. Efek sound minim, tapi nuansa-nya itu lho. Bikin bergetarrr…

Setengah sebelas, Sancaka datang. Senengnya ketemu saudara jauh.
Seneng seperti ini, can’t be measured by hours in a day

Oldies, tapi jelas bukan genre “Smoke On The Water”. Tebak aja kalo bisa.. hehe.. :)
